The GBA Board of Directors are excited to announce that Alumni Band Day 2022 will be held on Saturday, September 10th, during the TTU vs Houston football game! This game has already been scheduled for a 3pm kickoff which means our schedule of events will begin early.

Registration for Alumni Band Day 2022 has closed! If you missed out, you’re still welcome to come hang out with us, but will be unable to provide any tickets into the stadium.
You must be a current member of the Goin’ Band Association in order to register (either directly with GBA or through the TTAA’s Alumni Network program).
This year, the Athletic Ticket Office has created a FEVO page for us to purchase tickets for our non-performing guests (i.e. guest tickets). This page will sell you tickets directly and instantly at our secured group rate of $20/person in the block of seats assigned to the Alumni Band. Only non-performing guests will need to purchase a ticket – all performing members will receive a complimentary ticket on September 10th at ABD.
Once you register for Alumni Band Day, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to this page where you can purchase these tickets. Please do not share this link with anyone as it is specific to your Alumni Band Day registrations.
Friday Night Get-Together
On Friday, Saturday 9th, make plans to join us at 4ORE! Golf (6909 Marsha Sharp Fwy) for good food, delicious drinks, great company, and golf! We have reserved the Loft Lounge and 4 Tee Boxes from 6pm-10pm for this family-friendly come-and-go event, although we hope you’ll stay the entire time. Food and drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) from the menu will be available for individual purchase as well as time in the tee box (individual purchase). Get a team together and challenge each other or just hang out in the lounge having a relaxing evening.
We are very excited for this year’s Get-Together and hope to see everyone there! There’s no schedule of events, so if you can’t be there right at 6pm or have to leave before 10pm, don’t worry!
Game Day Activities
Our tentative schedule of events can be found below. Please note that while we will try to stick as closely to this schedule as possible, we have to remain flexible in the event game day pageantry forces a change. Any updates will be announced as soon as we learn about them.

8:00am – Registration Packet Pickup, Silent Auction, and GBA Store Opens (Outside Hemmle Recital Hall & inside the Choir Room)
9:45am – Annual Meeting of Members (family and guests are welcome) (Hemmle Recital Hall)
10:30am – Indoor Music Rehearsal (Hemmle Recital Hall)
11:00am – Outdoor Marching Rehearsal (Band Lot)
12:30pm – Lunch (Band Lot)
1:00pm – Goin’ Band Fan Performance (Band Lot)
1:30pm – Buses for those needing assistance getting to the stadium (18th and Akron)
2:00pm – Silent Auction Closes (Winners will pay and pick up their items following the game)
2:10pm – Alumni Band Step-Off (Guests will enter the stadium through the gates)
3:00pm – Kickoff!
~7:00pm – TECH WINS! Post-Game Performance by the Goin’ Band
~7:30pm – March back to the Music Building
Texas Tech Football should be very exciting this fall and the Goin’ Band will always be there to cheer everyone on. We can’t wait to have you come join us again this fall for another Alumni reunion back on campus.
In the meantime, please invite your friends and family to join GBA and come back to campus in September to support the Goin’ Band and the Red Raiders!
